At Nyord, we have always believed that everyone should have access to the best gear, without compromising on sustainability or price. That's why we're so excited to introduce the Solu – our brand new wetsuit range made with Yulex natural rubber.
Why Solu?
We created Solu because we wanted to offer a solution. For too long, natural rubber wetsuits have come at a price point that makes them out of reach for many surfers. At Nyord, we believe sustainability should be accessible, so Solu was born from a simple desire: create an eco-friendly wetsuit that doesn't cost the earth, in every sense.
How We Did It
Working alongside the genius minds at Yulex, we developed a wetsuit that uses their premium natural rubber, known for its flexibility, durability, and low environmental impact. Every design choice for Solu was intentional – from the panels to the lining – focusing on what a surfer actually needs, and cutting out anything unnecessary.

Over the last year, Solu has been rigorously tested in all conditions by our team. From icy winter sessions in the hooded 6/5/4mm to mellow summer surfs in the 2/2 shorty and long Jane, every suit has been refined to ensure warmth, comfort, flexibility, and longevity.
The Solu uses the latest, Yulex 2.0 natural rubber. Yulex 2.0 is a higher performing material that gives our wetsuits world leading performance and sustainability. We are leaping forward in performance, durability and sustainability with this one big step.
